What You’ll Do:
The position will be multi-disciplinary and focus primarily on assisting with AP, General Accounting matters (For US Entity) as well as TDS, GST, withholding tax, Income Taxes, defining and adopting processes etc. (For India entity). The position will serve multiple managers and/or other more senior professional staff members within the finance department. The position will require interaction with the international and local finance teams as well as other business groups within the Group and will report directly to Finance Director.
Duties include:
US Group (primary):
- Assist with the preparation of monthly Accounts for US Group, including maintaining fixed asset registers, revenue accounting and other general accounting.
- Monitoring and processing AP, AR invoicing/collections, analytical work and ad hoc projects for US Group.
- Help in closing the book of accounts.
- Assist with the preparation and delivering of analytical and financial reports to senior management
- Sound Knowledge on US GAAP accounting and accounting principles.
- Basic knowledge on variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting etc.
- Preparation and maintenance of various balance sheet and P/L schedules and reconciliations.
- Knowledge on financial statements, note on accounts, Cash flow statements under US GAAP.
- Knowledge on various finance process ie. AP, Payroll, Fixed asset, treasury etc.
- Pivotal in coordinating and collaborating with cross functional team.
- Self-initiator, special importance on accuracy and in time delivery
- Assist with internal/external audit information
- Other Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Indian Entity (secondary):
- Sound knowledge of Indian GAAP accounting
- Assist with the preparation of monthly TDS payable schedules and pay the TDS before due date.
- Assist with filling the quarterly TDS returns.
- Assist with preparation of Monthly GST Schedules (GST input credit, Output liability, RCM) and matching it with books of Accounts.
- Assist with filling various GST returns / forms before due date.
- Assist with supporting Tax audit and drafting tax audit report.
- Assist with Income tax, deferred tax computation, Support with Tax filling.
- Assist External Consultants during Tax assessments, scrutinizes.
- Assist with the preparation of income tax provision.
Should have complete knowledge on India GST, WHT and Income tax matters.

- Education CA/ICWA/ B.Com
- Minimum Years of Experience 6/7 years (B com with 10 + years of experience)
