Machine Learning Operations Engineer - Creative Play

As a machine learning operations engineer at Embark you will be building, optimizing and operating machine learning systems that help create new ways to enhance experiences in interactive entertainment.

In this role, you will be responsible for development and maintenance of our machine learning operations, including performance, robustness and ease of operation. This includes productization of machine learning services, as well as designing workflows and pipelines with our researchers and engineers to power our ongoing development.

As a machine learning operations engineer at Embark you will of course collaborate closely with the rest of the game team and studio; together we will make sure to build that enhanced game experience that we today only can imagine.

Our stack today consists of Rust and Python applications. These are built and deployed with Kubernetes, hosted on GCP. Our ML projects use primarily Pytorch, with supporting libraries such as HuggingFace.

Example of responsibilities

• Help optimize the performance of the machine learning systems deployed on GPU servers
  
• Working end-to-end with machine learning services, from development to operations
  
• Collaborate around workflows for developing, deployment, testing and operating services
  

We would love if you have

• Experience of managing GPU servers and an understanding of ML operations
• Knowledge of performance optimization of GPU software
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services, such as AWS and GCP
• Proficiency with Python. Rust or C++ is a bonus.
• Experience with common ML frameworks such as Pytorch
• Experience from ML inference tools such as TensorRT, Triton, ONNX runtime, and methods such as model quantization
• Professional English communication skills
• The ability to be a great team player with great communication skills
