MBA Product Management Intern

As a Product Management MBA Summer Intern at Bungie, you will develop product strategy and help build the roadmap for Destiny 2. You will conduct industry research, draw insights, craft and communicate recommendations to stakeholders, and help prioritize new content and features that grow our player base and revenue.
In this role you will be embedded in the Product Management discipline, reporting to the Principal Product Manager for Destiny 2 Seasons. You will work closely with Product Managers as well as Analytics, Consumer Insights, Development, Marketing, and Publishing teams.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Currently enrolled in a U.S. college, university, or related program and returning to school in the fall upon conclusion of the internship
Available to work full-time for 12 weeks throughout the summer with a set May or June start date

RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with marketing and publishing teams to ensure they’re equipped with the critical information to take feature launches to market, including development status, feature goals, and experience details.
Work with analytics teams to prioritize research projects, gather product data, and report on key performance indicators.
Analyze and combine findings from user research, playtests, surveys, competitor analysis, and game data into content and feature recommendations.
Maintain and update the product roadmap with features that grow the player base in key markets and demographics, and build alignment with stakeholders to prioritize these features.
Prepare reports and give presentations on project updates and results.
Develop strategy and guard rails to guide expressions of the Destiny IP and franchise.
Learn, have fun, and help evolve a game that millions of people love to play.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Currently enrolled in a Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent degree program
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Comfortable deriving insights and recommendations from data
Familiarity with business frameworks and their application to ambiguous problem spaces
Adept at balancing multiple concurrent projects through effective delivery, prioritization, stakeholder management, and time management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to influence partners and stakeholders through clear, concise documentation and presentations
Desire to learn and grow professionally, and openness to feedback and improvement
Familiarity with the gaming industry, and interest in product and data optimization in gaming
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or equivalent

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

Familiarity with the Destiny franchise and/or Destiny 2
Passion for any of the following: first person shooters, live service games, collection- and progression-based (grinding) games

Listed below is this role's base pay range within the greater Seattle area. In other locations approved for remote work by Bungie and our external resource vendors, this pay range may be adjusted to the local market and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly),

This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Additionally, it is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Washington State Pay Range

$94,000 — $99,000 USD

Bungie employees in the U.S. also receive:

20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position
10 paid Floating Days annually, prorated in the first year of employment based on start date
10 paid Bungie-observed holidays annually
One hour of Paid Sick Time (PST) for every 30 hours worked
