What will your main challenges be?

We are looking for an M&A Associate to join our Corporate Development team. Working closely with the CEO, CFO and Head of M&A, you will actively contribute to our growth strategy by sourcing potential investment or acquisition opportunities and delivering successful transaction outcomes.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

- Tracking competitive intelligence in the mobile games market, worldwide

- Developing a network of relationships across the industry

- Maintaining a deal sourcing pipeline

- Performing detailed financial modelling and valuation analysis

- Drafting deal investment memos

- Conducting and coordinating due diligence processes

- Preparing or reviewing term sheets and contracts

- Monitoring integration progress

The M&A Associate will interact with a wide variety of stakeholders, including founders / management teams of potential M&A partners, Voodoo’s senior leadership and colleagues across all functional areas, as well as external advisors.

What does the ideal candidate look like?

- Strong academic background

- Minimum 3 years of experience in investment banking (M&A) and/or private investing (VC, growth, PE)

- Superior analytical, financial, and modelling skillset

- Familiarity with the technology and internet sectors; passionate about gaming (or make up for it with an outsized sense of humour)

- Enthusiastic, proactive, accountable, and detail-oriented

- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and to remain composed in a fast-paced environment

- Strong written (memos as much as slides) and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely

- Team-oriented; able to flex communication style to interact effectively with a wide range of counterparts across cultures and seniority

- Highest degree of Integrity and emotional maturityFluent in French and English
