Low Poly 3D artist

Dubit is looking for a freelance 3D Artist to create props and furniture for mobile games.
We are a team building game projects for international clients such as Mattel, PBS, LEGO, The BBC, Go Noodle, Match Attax, and many more. We have a huge variety of projects and technologies, so there’s always something new and interesting to work on, from educational platforms through to mobile and augmented reality games.
We’re looking for smart and adaptable people with creative flair and an eye for design
Flexibility and Location
This is a remote position, for individuals living in the UK or less than 2 hours outside of the UK timezone.
What will you do?
Using Maya (or similar) create low poly 3D props and furniture for our portfolio of Mobile games
What is required?
- 3D software that can output to the fbx format
- Experience turning high detail concepts into Low Poly 3D files
- Ability to texture
- Demonstrable portfolio of low poly work
- 3D modelling and UV layout suited to mobile platform, efficient use of limited polys and textures.
Other nice to haves
- Maya
- Working knowledge of Roblox studio
- Unity
- Experience within a games studio, although we would consider graduates and industry entrants demonstrating an exceptional portfolio. We also welcome applicants from other creative industries
- Strong skillset in traditional 2D sketching, drawing, painting, and composition is beneficial.
- Understanding of shader design/implementation.
- Experience producing VFX for 3D games.
- Experience using World Machine, Z Brush, Marmoset Tool Bag, Substance Designer/Painter.
- 3d animation and rigging skills.
