This role is based in Raleigh, North Carolina
This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in delivering Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) product to our passionate fans worldwide. Working in our TCG production vendors’ warehouses in Raleigh/Durham, NC, you will be our “boots on the ground” liaising between vendor logistics staff and TPCi teams to lead the planning, collaboration and communication that ultimately determines the success of our product launches.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with TPCi Sr. Planner, Sales Order Management (SOM) team members, Production and vendor teams to build and execute a plan to efficiently/effectively stage and ship customer orders
- Identify and troubleshoot problems negatively impacting shipping throughput and accuracy; lead cross-functional efforts to improve
- Attend vendor meetings, representing TPCi and gathering information relevant/impactful to the shipping plan
- Identify timing, quantity, etc. changes that impact the plan; initiate/lead efforts to assess, communicate and collaborate around how best to accommodate
- Expedite shipment of urgent orders; ensure prioritization happens as needed
- Prepare and provide reporting to measure and communicate status of shipments, progress against resolving know issues and other key metrics
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ experience in transportation, warehousing, logistics or related field
- Experience managing projects; familiar with project management concepts
- Experienced and comfortable operating as a leader in a professional setting, whether as a project lead, team lead, or other; comfortable giving direction and holding people accountable in a productive, professional, respectful manner
- Ability to influence people who don't report to you; comfortable working at all levels of an organization
- Proactive, self-starter able to work successfully with minimal direction
- Optimistic, energetic, finds joy in solving problems as a team
- Ability to collaborate with diverse groups, handle multiple projects in multiple locations simultaneously and deliver results that exceed expectations
- Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Excellent ability to prioritize work, multi-task and work under tight, time-specific deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook; familiar with Sharepoint preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
- Knowledge of and an affinity for the Pokémon brand and our products a plus
