The Logistics Manager - LATAM is responsible for Logistic within a country or region. He maintains inventory levels for both EGM, and parts stocks, assuring availability under ideal levels. In charge of executing improvements projects in warehouse and logistic networks, while seeking efficiency opportunities in the day-to-day activities. The individual will work with both internal (SDC, Operations Delivery Coordinator, Tech manager), external providers (Transportation suppliers) as well as Director of operations to coordinate and achieve region goals. The Logistics Manager is accountable for leading appropriate business workflows in the call management system (REMEDY) and assuring work within any regulatory requirements.What You'll Do
- Ensures logistic model is within regulatory and compliant to policies and authority requierements.
- Manages internal transfers, and assures orders are imported to regional countries in compliance with foreign trade, and custom regulations.
- Measures performance to all 3 PL, and transportation partners. Ensures competitive rates for outsource services.
- Seeks and maintains efficiencies throughout logistic network, in order to obtain cost saving, quality improvements, and better responsiveness.
- Partners with Supply chain organization (planning, manufacturing, and shipping) on initiatives that benefit the operation.
- Follows process to activate new sites for logistic purposes with Compliance, Legal, Risk management teams to comply with corporate policies and regulations
- Create safety working spaces for Aristocrat and external personnel in operational sites managed directly by ATI or third parties.
- Controls inventory levels for spare parts and manages replenishment orders from ATI.
- Ensures parts stocks are managed correctly, all consumptions and entries are recorded, assuring inventory accuracy.
- Establish reorder stock levels for parts, ensure efficient levels are maintained.
- Process obsolete parts and cabinets for correct disposition
- Tracks serial number of cabinets and manages inventory. Pre-Assigns and ensures cabinets for work in process orders, by working hand by hand with Sales teams
- Responsible for local ERP stocks (Compaq/ Tango) is up to date maintaining accurate levels, assuring transactions are properly documented and supported.
- Participation with Sales and Operations meetings, mid-point & closeout meetings.
- Review pre-install documents to determine which parts will be needed to complete the installation.
- Implement and maintain delivery model, which includes on time delivery of goods, parts support, material movements and other services in Aristocrat’s service portfolio.
- Leads quality fist initiatives, follows up with QFF / JIRA cases identified by team members, as proposes improvements in products.
- Accurate information gets uploaded and updated for customer sites an products owned. (TBD)(OMT)
- Ensure Customer services are executed appropriately as planned by Tech manager, within the responsibilities of material movement, and order preparation.
- Executes customer order from quoting process to delivery within region, prepares invoices and logistic documents to ensure efficient on time deliveries.
- Works with US teams to improve process for a more efficient and order process.
- Process CTF orders to ensure Conversion kits get process and delivered to local stock or customers.
- Follow ups and validates warranty claims, to deliver quality working products to customers.
- Key Performance indicators are monitored and obtained. Responsible for the coordination of all installations and visitation schedules in conjunction with the SDC, Director of Operations, Tech Manager, Director of Sales, BDE.
- Manages service requests in Remedy for preparation deliveries/ tech checks / parts support and ensure appropriate requests are matched up to Retriever.
- Manager Operation personal and their development of skills for customer service, quality and technical delivery
- Set up organizational development of assigned personal that he/she is assigned. Areas include technical training, customer service and business acumen
- Owner of the logistics regional budget that includes pre -approving all logistics expenses for the region; transportation, customs, freight, shipping and warehousing cost.
- Manages geographic corporate assets, which include but not limited to: regional parts inventories; warehouse equipment, cell phones, laptops, and other property.
- Complies with Corporate rules and policies to investigate, validate and upload suppliers as Local Aristocrat vendors.
- Supports the operation through the sourcing of local parts that impact positively and efficiently the delivery to customers.
- Actively participates in company initiatives that are focused in a continuous improvement process.
- Helps to document operational process for a standardize and sustaining operation.
- Champions company initiatives regionally.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of Supply Chain experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Foreign Commerce (COMEX), or Business Administration or equivalent years of work experience.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Able to work flexible hours to meet business demands globally.
- Must be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and/or external customers
- Must possess a strong focus on high quality customer service delivery.
- Must have good verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of business processes; knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting the business and organization; knowledge of industry competitors; must be aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace, yet flexible to learn best practices.
- Must demonstrate successful performance and qualifications in relevant field service.
- Ability to act as an aggressive change agent; must be a hands-on deader with a passion for employees’ well-being.
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management in a complex nature.
- Must be self-motivated and self-disciplined. Must be a creative, forward, positive thinker.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information regarding the company, company products and employee information.
- Must be comfortable working without administrative support in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience working with IT tools.
- Working knowledge of Digital Electronics.
