We have an immediate opening for a Logistics Coordinator!
This position is responsible for the coordination of logistics, both domestic and international. The position will evaluate and select efficient carriers and be responsible for logistics related A/P (US$5 million annual spend). Additionally, this position will act as the individual primarily responsible for SAP receiving.
What you'll do:
- This role has the primary responsibility for all vendor drop shipments. The volume of which can make up half of a new product release. The role is also responsible for all inventory transfers, and inbound shipments to the distribution center. This includes carrier selection and rate negotiation.
- Accountable for a portion of global logistics (product and equipment). This includes coordinating the logistics of worldwide product releases going to 70+ countries.
- Acts as the receiving coordinator for WOTC.SAP PO and non-PO receiving activities. Including handling receipts, back up and receipt audits.
- Responsible for handling WOTC's logistics A/P requirements including bill payments, disputes and audits.
What you'll bring:
- 2+ years experience in international shipping
- International Freight Forwarder/Carrier experience required
- BA/BS in related field or equivalent work experience, logistics or supply chain preferred
- Timely decision making/confident solution implementation
- Detail oriented with strong business interpersonal skills
- Analytical capability and problem solving
- Microsoft Office: Excel and Word
- SAP experience - preferred
- Experience in the games industry and/or knowledge of Wizards of the Coast products preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Office environment, able to work on computer or phone for long periods of time.
- Domestic and international travel required 5% of time per year
