Administration of Vendor Management activities, to include (but not exclusive to):
- Identify, forecast, track and deliver on vendor needs within the organisation.
- Manage the Vendor recruitment to target dates, whilst optimising and accelerating delivery when required.
- Ensure onboarding deliverables are also met to target (complete onboarding, quality checks and references are provided within the required timeframe).
- Track average buy rates & gross profit margins. Work to percentage targets to adhere to business goals and provide solutions to achieve and / or exceed targets (on both an individual client basis and cumulatively across all Service lines); e.g. identifying target languages to harness impactful results.
- Maintain the vendor database and ensure it is kept up to date.
- Create detailed monthly reports of Vendor activity, detailing elements such as churn, onboarding & rate movements.
- Develop routine quality performance monitoring of resources and provide feedback where required.
- Identify resource gaps and proactively recruit specialists to expand our talent pool. Track Success rates and report updates as required.
- Conduct regular key account reviews with Project Managers to ensure availability and retention of key resources at competitive rates.
- Work with the respective Service Lines in building a system to evaluate post-release projects & vendor performance.
- Work closely with the Localisation line manager to support exceptional recruitment needs.
Requirements
You are a great match if you
- Previous work within a Localisation provider or equivalent delivery management within the field.
- Previous experience in people management and highly skilled at applying work priorities accordingly.
- Ideally managing XTRF or equivalent Translation Management/Tools system on a sole or collaborative basis, being responsible for administration, content, workflows, etc
- Having sole or collaborative responsibility for Quality Management systems (Linguistic Quality Evaluations, etc)
- Experience in negotiating rates with external providers to gain best value, both on an individual and studio/business level
- Delivering on Linguists and scheduling expectations across multiple Service lines
- Capable of tracking Vendor rates per client/language, alongside wordcount volumes per project/Vendor
Desirable Experience
Previous experience in Vendor Management within a Games-Industry-related position highly desirable.
