Localization Project Manager
KRAFTON, Inc. is currently seeking a talented, highly motivated, passionate, and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team. The Marketing Manager will be a key member of an unannounced project and will be responsible for helping to guide the execution of marketing plans within the Americas. The ideal candidate is a thinker and doer with outstanding communications skills, proven experience in the games industry, and a successful track record of supporting AAA products.
You will be a part of the PMO team and work closely alongside multiple teams to support existing and new gaming titles, to improve and support our publishing team’s mission and vision.
Qualifications
- Experience in localization, or equivalent project / program management in a fast-paced role with accountability for delivering projects with multiple components and multiple partners and collaborators
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience maintaining relationships with vendors
- Experience working with publishing and/or development teams
- Basic understanding of the engineering and software development processes
- Comfortable working with multiple content management tools
- Strong track record in delivering global products, and understanding of localization challenges
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience communicating across a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, working across time zones and international offices
- Skilled in building and optimizing complex workflows
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will take a lead in making sure we provide our players with a truly localized experience across all our products and marketing efforts, respecting their values and cultures
- You will report to the PMO lead and work closely alongside publishing and development teams to improve and support our localization efforts
- Manage localization projects for campaigns and marketing content, CRM, e-mails, product and web content, coordinate localization, and QA workflow
- Ensure work is done within budget and that vendors adhere to their service level agreement
- You will facilitate communication of localization requirements, share insights, resolve any issues and ensure that we operate according to our overall localization strategy
- Work closely with existing teams responsible for localization tasks, tools, and practices, analyze the gaps and work on opportunities for improvement
- Bridge the gap between multiple teams working in the same space, take initiative to educate and align their roadmaps
- Coordinate the localization review workflow with internal and external resources
- Review, prioritize, and supervise the resolution of bugs that affect localized product content quality and functionality
- Manage localization budget and delivery timelines
