We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Localization Project Manager, Lead to manage our Western Market localization project management team for various Kabam game titles in our office located in downtown Los Angeles, CA.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Set the overall direction for the localization project management team, including KPIs, best practices, and training.
- Manage localization projects across multiple Netmarble subsidiaries and external vendors worldwide.
- Track localization and LQA schedules and milestones to meet deadlines.
- Forecast possible issues (scheduling, quality, etc.) and provide solutions.
- Manage and train vendors on internal processes and guidelines.
- Work closely with branches, internal localization team, and vendors to ensure all deliverables meet the expected quality.
- Propose new strategies and initiatives to improve the localization process.
- Be the voice of the localization project management team, and support team needs and foster growth.
- Lead by example through training, mentoring, and managing direct reports.
- Other related duties, as assigned.
Your background includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant major.
- Professional-level proficiency in both Korean and English.
- 5+ years of experience in localization project management.
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace, JIRA, Microsoft Excel, and Confluence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Confident leadership ability.
- Previous experience in game localization is a plus.
- Previous experience with CAT tool software such as MemoQ is a plus.
- Previous leadership experience is a plus.
- Experience working with IPs a plus
