Localisation QA Project Coordinator - Japanese Speaking

Job Summary:
Square Enix is on the lookout for a passionate English/Japanese bilingual individual to join our Localisation QA team. In this position you will coordinate the Localisation QA efforts on all assigned titles to ensure they reach Square-Enix linguistic standards and comply with First Party compliance expectations.
Requirements
Key Deliverables:
- Overall day-to-day project management of assigned titles:
- Coordination with Square Enix Japan (in Japanese and/or English)
- Direction of outsource vendor linguistic testing (in English)
Key Stakeholders:
Assistant LQA Managers, Senior QA Lead team, Senior LQA Manager, Japanese Language Support Team, External Vendor LQA team, Localisation Producer, Head of Localisation, Square Enix Japan
Knowledge & Experience:
Essential:
- Experience of games QA
- Ability to fully converse in both English and Japanese
Desirable:
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience
Competencies, Skills & Attributes:
Essential:
- Ability to work as part of team
- Passionate and enthusiastic
- Able to work to deadlines
Desirable:
- Basic programming knowledge
- Knowledge of development process
Other:
- Understanding of console market, set up of hardware
- Basic networking skills (setting up routers etc)
- Interest in video games and Japanese / RPG titles in particular
- Experience leading teams
- Knowledge of Square Enix games
