Thanks to the success of our titles, we are looking to expand our Localization team with a Localisation Manager.

Job Purpose

As Localisation Manager, you will work with Jagex Production and Publishing Teams as well as external partners to ensure the successful delivery of our First-, Second- and Third-Party titles.

You will oversee the discovery phase, track budgets, road maps and releases to ensure the timely and high-quality release of our games for our global communities.

Your role will include ongoing reviews of processes, cross-functional collaboration to evolve and improve our ways of working, as well as reporting on project status and progress to Jagex Leadership teams.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Manage the localisation of multiple First-, Second- and Third-Party titles throughout their project lifecycle

Work with internal and external partners to foster good relationships and cross-functional communication and collaboration to ensure the delivery of high-quality games for our global communities.

Coordinate road maps and releases with internal and external partners to ensure the timely delivery across all languages and products.

Proactively identify and communicate blockers, risks and opportunities to the Production and Leadership Teams.

Advocate for development practices and production pipelines that incorporate best Localisation practices and an optimised experience with our products and services for our global communities.

Create and track budgets.

Maintain and improve our localisation tools and pipelines.

Drive and evolve new ways of working along with identifying and maintaining best practices.

Directly manage and mentor more junior members of the team to facilitate their growth and aspirations.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in Localisation Production or Programme Management roles in the games industry.

Previous responsibility for the localisation of simultaneous multiple projects, providing insight and influence into how to execute and deliver more effectively.

Deep understanding of industry-standard localisation solutions and international production process/methodologies.

Experience and knowledge of localisation tools including content management, translation memories and (added bonus) machine learning/AI solutions.

Experience working with Jira and Confluence.

Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Organised and calm within a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Strong communication, diplomacy and people management skill

Passion for video games and supporting video game production for a global audience.

PMP, Agile or other certification is a plus.

Ability to speak a second language is a plus.
