Job Description
The Local IT Technician is responsible for delivering on-site support on the hardware and software of Ubisoft employees.
The main and routine tasks of the Local IT Technician are to:
- Offer on-site support to end users on hardware and software
- Request management Level 1 / Level 2 based on service definition
- Incident management Level 1 / Level 2 based on service definition
- Actively participate / support the change management process and problem management process
- Manage local infrastructure when required
- Manage local conferencing and meeting infrastructure
- Ensure security policies are known and applied by users
- Be active part of documentation, Knowledge Base, IT policies and processes evolution
- Site / Event IT asset management
- Technical support for mainly local events and trainings
- Interact with external vendors regarding repair of hardware
- Carry out all other related tasks.
Qualifications
Training
Apprenticeship / College diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent experience MCSE, MCSA or MCP certification is an asset.
Relevant experience
2+ years of experience in technical support to end users.

Knowledge
• Expertise in PC and laptop support and latest hardware news
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
• Good English skills (spoken and written)
• Good knowledge in Mobile support, networking as well as cabling
• Good knowledge of SCCM, Active Directory
• Linux knowledge is an asset
• Knowledge of multimedia equipment is an asset
• Scripting ability (batch files, VBScript, PowerShell) is an asset
• Knowledge of Agile / ITIL methodologies is an asset
• Mac OS X knowledge is an asset
