Live Ops Specialist

Cat Daddy Games is looking for a Live Operations Specialist to join our team in Kirkland, WA. The Live Ops Specialist plays a critical role in the success and operational health of our mobile titles. As the game’s execution expert, the Live Operations Specialist is responsible for implementing, deploying and managing in-game events, sales, and promotions for assigned title(s). Working closely with various game stakeholders, the Live Operations Specialist boosts player engagement and monetization over a game’s lifetime, by reliably and precisely deploying a seamless flow of in-game content releases.
What you will do:
- Own the execution of all in-game content releases
- Ensure the in-game actions, communication, and promotions are set up, tested, approved, and released. Follow up post-release to verify clean deployment
- Collaborate with the game stakeholders on in-game content strategies and determine how to execute those plans with available resources and tools
- Collaborate with a wide variety of departments (internal and external) as needed: designers, artists, producers, community managers, QA, localization, marketing, etc.
- Identify risks and resolve problems quickly, providing support to the rest of the team
- Strategically brainstorm, collaborate, and implement operational improvements and efficiencies
Who we think will be a great fit:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working on a live game operated as a service, or similar experience in a similar industry
- General understanding of free to play mobile game mechanics
- Fast learner who takes pride in mastering tools and processes
- Driven to consistently deliver results and exceed expectations with a high level of personal responsibility for work quality
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to solve problems and execute on plans using a combination of common sense, creative (outside the box) and analytical thinking
- Demonstrate good judgement, prioritization, and decision-making skills under pressure
- Great communicator with the ability to build strong relationships
- Dedicated team player, who is willing to do what it takes for the success of the team as well as the game
- Passion for gaming
- Experience with Perforce, Test Track Pro (Perforce Helix ALM), and/or Favro is a plus
- Proficiency with general code parsing (html, json) and/or basic knowledge of programming languages (SQL, Python, C++) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred
