Live Ops Coordinator

Iron Galaxy employees can elect to work from the office or home through end-2021. This policy extends to anyone that Iron Galaxy hires between now and then. Any equipment that you might need for projects at Iron Galaxy will be set up for you onsite or shipped directly to you based on preference.

As a Live Ops Coordinator, you'll work with diverse teams to help bring fresh content for our games to players all across the globe. From development to deployment, you’ll be involved in shepherding Live Ops features that improve communication and marketing to our players. Utilizing your knowledge of the Live Product, you’ll support new content and feature creation to maintain a stable and healthy live product. By researching and engaging with competitive live products, you’ll identify new trends and work with development teams to best adapt them to our games.

This opportunity is for a full-time position, either in Chicago, IL or Orlando, FL.

Support a Live Product

• Prepare, schedule, and deploy updates to the Live Game for various communication and monetization features
• Generate and submit content to First Party Storefronts
• Support updates for stability and respond to outages/bugs for Live Ops features
• Schedule and manage deployment and feature post-mortems, fostering a culture of self-review and improvement

Synchronize Communication

• Schedule and participate in meetings with development, community, and business teams
• Maintain documentation, roadmaps, and test files for various development and live environments
• Generate reports for live service health, telemetry, and player feedback to development and business teams
• Identify bottlenecks in development and deployment pipelines and collaborate to resolve them.

Requirements

• 1-3+ years experience in games-as-a-service and/or free-to-play, with experience iterating upon a live game over a long period of time. Console, PC or Mobile is all great!
• Strong written and verbal communication skills especially within technical space
• Knowledge of game industry-standard software tools, design documents, and development processes/best practices
