ABOUT MEGAZEBRA
At MegaZebra we have successfully crafted category-leading games for more than 10 years. We develop our own original titles, and develop games based on “Hollywood”-IP such as Desperate Housewives - The Game. By combining technology, game-design, art, analytics, and bringing together passionate people from around the globe we have repeatedly been able to produce hit games. We are based in Munich/Germany and Montréal/Canada.
We develop all our games in small and vibrant teams. Each team has a high degree of responsibility and creative freedom for their game and is committed to creating something outstanding. For our studio in the heart of Montréal’s gaming scene, we are now looking for an experienced Release Manager
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Live Operations team’s mission is to maximize revenue and profitability of our games, which are live on the market
- Work focus is to drive up retention, maximize player lifetime-value, and keep player community satisfaction high
- Develop and execute strategies for releasing content updates, running sales and events, performing A/B-tests for pricing or economy balancing, launching new features, and personalizing the game-experience
- Drive gains in player satisfaction by ensuring that key complaints are prioritized and addressed rapidly, through both software and process improvements
- Identify improvement potential together with our Game Analytics team
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and community sentiment across games
- Analyze competitors and perform benchmarking
- Manage the Live Operations team
YOUR PROFILE
- Experience in video-game live operations for free-to-play video-games
- Strong production- and execution capability
- Strong analytical capability and translating analytical insight into action
- A strong desire for maintaining a high quality player experience having internalized a “games-as-a-service” mentality
- A passion for maximizing revenue and driving up profitability of a game
- 2+ years experience in managing a team. Experience in video-games is preferred. Mobile apps and consumer software are also fine
- Familiarity with agile software development processes
- Ability to inspire and motivate those that work for them and those they work around
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, statistics, economics (or similar). Master's degree is a plus
- 7+ years experience in video-game development, app development, or software development
