Live Operations Associate

Job Description
The ideal candidate:
Future Games of London is looking for a Live Operations Associate to assist in the execution of the Live Operations calendar for our hit game: Hungry Shark World. You will be embedded as part of the game design team and will be responsible for much of the day-to-day operations work for functionalities such as:
- Time-limited events.
- Data patching.
- Special Offers.
- Etc.
You will work closely with the Live Operations Specialist to execute the general strategy and help to maximize player engagement and LTV. You will be relied upon to design, create, execute, and validate live data via our proprietary game management web tool.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with data management (JSON, XML, etc.) on a live game, preferably as a games tester or a position similarly responsible for ensuring the quality of Live Ops activations.
- A solid understanding of the key metrics used to monitor the performance of a live game.
- Knowledge of Live Operations activations and how they relate to the key metrics. You must know your limited-time offers from your time-limited events.
- Familiarity with Agile working processes, especially weekly sprints.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Create and validate data patches, time-limited events, special offers, and more.
- Design repeating low-level activations based on existing templates.
- Share feedback and suggestions with the game design team in regards to general Live Ops strategy.
- Be an expert in regards to our game management web tools. Be able to create and maintain documentation for these tools.
- Assist the functionality QA team by reviewing and offering feedback on their test cases for Live Operations-related functionalities.
- Write a weekly report for Live Ops stakeholders, effectively outlining all blockers so that they be dealt with.

The successful candidate will have:
- Self-starter, able to work autonomously on parallel tasks.
- Strong interest in Live Operations for mobile, F2P games.
- Detail-oriented, always willing to double and triple-check their work.
- A Collaborative way of working.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good descriptive skills – able to pinpoint and efficiently translate what they experience when validating their work.
- Not intimidated by the prospect of learning how to use new, unfamiliar tools.
- Keen learner, always looking to expand their in-game knowledge.
