Live Broadcast Producer

As Broadcast Producer , you'll ensure the quality and success of live broadcasts. You will be part of the Berlin-based Broadcast team and work on premier global esports leagues and events, focusing on League of Legends: Wild Rift. At the same time, you'll work with esports teams globally in the planning, pre-production, and execution of weekly live broadcasts. You'll lead production staff onair and develop your shows when off air to engage your audience. You will report to the Senior Broadcast Producer.

Responsibilities:

• Guide creative strategy for show formats with an unwavering player focus. You will be accountable for its success and trajectory and for the experiences your team providers to your audience
• You will oversee execution. You will work with diverse and cross-functional teams, moving fast with a commitment to quality and progress
• You will set the direction for your show staff and their success and you support craft development via mentoring your show staff
• Show-run live broadcasts on-location domestically and abroad, craft show structure and source relevant broadcast elements, build rundowns and lead script review, innovate and refine show builds and tech

Required Qualifications:

• You bring at least 2 years of relevant experience working in a live broadcasts in gaming or sports
• You have experience working on a live show in a control room, building storylines, narratives and herobuilding stars
• You guide broadcast production staff with a commitment to individual growth and team development
• Your deep understanding of the video games industry and the esports ecosystem. Your passions helps you on projects that make a difference to players and fans
• You excel in an office environment and you feel right at home in the control room
