Lighting/Compositing Artist - (Contract)

Rooster Teeth Animation is looking for a Lighting/Compositing Artist to support the growth of our Viz Post department! We believe passionately in attracting the best and brightest for our team, creating the most engaging and impressive animated productions online or elsewhere (while also having more than a little fun in the process). A strong candidate will have a proven track record of production experience and interpersonal skills to help the company fulfill its objectives.
- Lighting and Compositing of assigned shots and sequences for on-going stylized animated series based on guidance from director and Lead
- Support development of looks for sets and characters that meet the vision of the director and lead
- Collaborate with departments that contribute elements to the post-production pipeline.
- Seek out creative, design-led solutions to challenging problems
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Nuke, Maya, and 3DSMax
- Works well with short deadlines and fast turnarounds (able to adapt to changing deadlines)
- Good communication skills and self motivated
- Attention to detail
- Professional attitude
Preferred:
- Production experience in animation
- Strong sense of composition, light, and color
Bonus:
- Have worked with or have an understanding of Shotgun Software
- Have a passion or interest in Anime
- Strong traditional art background
