Who we're looking for:
The Product Marketing department is looking for an analytical, strategic, creative and motivated Director of Lifecycle Marketing
About you:
- A proven customer lifecycle marketer with the ability to develop and execute successful customer engagement and retention strategies for consumer services.
- A self-starter with an “own it” mentality, who can roll up their sleeves to get stuff done whilst building a world class organization under them
- A customer first, creative thinker who is expert at working with data to enhance customer journey, campaigns and overall strategies.
- An experienced strategic team leader and builder with strong communication and leadership skills
What you'll do:
- This is an incredibly exciting time to build the Lifecycle Marketing team and organization. As the Head of Lifecycle Marketing, you will be a foundational member of our marketing department, and play a key role in the evolution and success of the entire business
- Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing, the Head of Lifecycle Marketing will be responsible for defining, prioritizing and executing our Lifecycle Marketing program. You will turn customer data and insights into actionable strategies, optimize the execution and deliver increased revenue and engagement with our growing customer base.
- In this role you will spearhead efforts to increase customer engagement and retention, build segmented customer journeys and bolster the customer communications experience. You will partner with our Live Ops team to optimize communications, cadence and create new live ops experiences.
- You will have a vision for a cohesive, intuitive customer journey across individual Skillz games as well as the entire Skillz community. You will lead the team to develop and deploy the most effective and innovative multichannel CRM programs with an agile “test and learn” mindset, focused on maximizing customer lifetime value, engagement and retention.
Required Skillz
- 10-15 years’ experience in Retention, Engagement or Customer Lifecycle marketing roles, with 5+ years management experience.
- Must have solid overall experience in, and deep understanding of, online/digital marketing, eCommerce and subscription.
- Ability to hire, train and retain a team of world class marketers.
- Experience with multichannel campaign delivery tools – deep understanding of the CRM technology landscape and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Strong creative, customer segmentation and analytical experience
- Strong analytical skills and SQL experience with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive action.
- Ability to get into the detail, problem solve, resolve issues and bring teams together.
- A great communicator who can tell the full story at all levels within the organization, bringing all stakeholders along with them.
