This role is located in Las Vegas, NV. Interested candidates must be willing to relocate.
The Licensing Coordinator will administrate, organize, and streamline numerous day-to-day duties and processes that are part of Aristocrat’s brand licensing endeavors. The ideal candidate will effectively liaise with internal development, finance and marketing groups, as well as Aristocrat’s external licensors. Organizational skills are a critical part of the role, across the different disciplines of game development, marketing, finance, legal, and their integration in both current and future licensing partnerships. Diplomacy skills are also a must.
The candidate will acquire substantial knowledge in a variety of licensing processes and skills, including contract negotiation, financial evaluation, cultivation of licensor relationships, and brand appraisal for gaming. The candidate will also gain an understanding of Aristocrat’s Gaming Operations and Digital businesses, in particular how licensed brands fit into portfolio planning and corporate strategy.What You'll Do
- Accurately track the status of all licensor submissions and approvals, and liaise with studios, Marketing, and licensors when necessary.
- Work with Finance and portfolio management personnel in creating quarterly projections for licensors, and facilitate timely contractual payments to licensors, talent, and agencies.
- Liaise with Legal department to ensure efficient processing of contract reviews, NDAs, talent agreements, and contract signatures.
- Establish and maintain database of current license agreement terms, including both product launch dates and contract expiration dates.
- Create professional and comprehensive PowerPoint presentations for a variety of intellectual properties and licensors, as well as for internal corporate updates.
- Attend trade shows and select licensor meetings with Sr. Director, 3rd Party Licensing, for the purposes of establishing relationships with licensing partners, evaluating available brands, and learning about the gaming industry.
- Attend regular meetings with game development studios, Digital team, and Gaming Ops group.
- Creation of business cases for potential new license acquisitions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4 years of experience in a licensing or marketing environment. Gaming experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to apply principles of logical and organized thinking to a wide range of disciplines.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize efforts, and to think and see licensing strategy in terms of the "big picture."
- Proficiency in PowerPoint , Tableau, proofreading and written correspondence.
