The Nitty Gritty
We are on the hunt for an Associate Producer to join our team! Joining our other Producers, this role will be committed to delivering a quality product to our beloved players and fans. You’ll be responsible for assisting our team to manage day-to-day production and project management needs for our Live Operations titles (YoWorld and FishWorld), including but not limited to new features, content, software, and platform updates. This position is offered Contract to Perm and 100% remotely. The Duties:
- Working alongside our Producers, coordinate projects in various stages of production
- Allocate resources, prioritize and assign tasks, and establish team milestones
- Identify risks and initiate problem solving within projects
- Manage agile development processes including scheduling, meetings, and reviews
- Be a point of contact for vendors and 3rd party contractors
- Work with and coordinate with remote teams, spanning different geological locations
- Work collaboratively with a cross functional team of Developers, Game Designers, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Creative team to meet internal OKR’s for productivity and game performance
- Identify and communicate all roadblocks and bottlenecks teams may encounter, while working with the team to remove those roadblocks
- Communicate frequently with the production team and leads on project status
The Requirements:
The Must Haves
- Completed Post-Secondary education
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- General technical proficiency (especially with G Suite, MS Excel, etc), as well as the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Good understanding of project management fundamentals and methodologies (Agile & Waterfall)
- Willingness to constantly meet targets and drive results
- A team player attitude, with the desire to help those around you
- A passion for games!
The Nice to Haves
- Experience working with project tracking systems - JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Experience in free-to-play, social games, casino games, or mobile games
- Experience in a project management focussed role (Gaming industry would be a strong asset)
