Legal Counsel - Commercial (short term contract)

Our Corporate teams support the company’s performance and growth whilst putting people at the core of everything they do. As a French tech leader and global successful company, our Corporate teams are constantly looking for ways to innovate and increase organization efficiency to keep Voodoo ahead of the market. Voodoo’s Corporate function is composed of four teams: People, Legal, M&A and Finance, working together to drive Voodoo’s success.

You will be part of a whip-smart group of in-house lawyers and the projects and cases you take on

challenge you to think big and differently. You will be part of a collaborative team that is ready to

partner in initiatives that influence all aspects of the business and willing to go the extra mile

Your will have an essential role in helping operational teams finalize their deals and will act as a

privileged business partner who will be responsible for securing their business and legal needs.

• Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements with the publishing, marketing, and gaming teams to secure deals with gaming studios, advertising networks, influencers, and blockchain projects
• Draft and negotiate JV and partnership deals
• You will be a key member of the legal team working hand in hand with the operational teams in a very integrated manner. You will be the privileged point of contact for any commercial need.

Profile

• Contract dates: Feb. 27th - Sept. 29th
• We are looking for someone agile, who thinks outside the box, not afraid of working outside their comfort zone, passionate about new ventures, and capable of translating difficult legal concepts in a business-oriented manner to an operational audience
• Personality is key: Creative, audacious, fun, good sense of humor, positive energy, with a strong team spirit
• Minimum two-three years of relevant professional experience (internships not included), ideally in a similar in-house role.
• Fluency in English and French required
• Constant search for excellence in the work that you do
• Nice to have: Fluency or proficiency in another language where Voodoo’s business is present
• Nice to have: Experience in both France and another jurisdiction (notably a common law country) will be highly considered
