Legal & Business Affairs Intern
San Mateo, CA
Responsibilities:
- In this role, you will conduct legal research and handle writing assignments related to various areas of the law including intellectual property, privacy, gambling and consumer protection. Drafting contracts and providing legal support in collaboration with primary in-house attorneys for various business units including Developer Relations, R&D, Marketing, E-Sports and LatAM. You will also be reviewing and clearing in-game assets and marketing materials for issues related to IP and advertising claims.
Qualifications:
- You are a current law student that has completed their 1L or 2L year and are familiar with Lexis Nexis and Westlaw
- You have proven and are able to perform in-depth legal research of US statutes, cases, and regulations in a timely manner
- Your writing and verbal communication is clear and follows high professional standards
- You are dedicated, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and prioritize integrity
