Legal Assistant, Employment Law & Global Regulatory Compliance

As part of the Take-Two community, you will be counted on as a Legal Assistant to support our in-house attorneys who oversee global regulatory compliance and employment matters. You will help us to review, proofread and revise a variety of legal documents, which includes assist in formation and planning for the company’s global training and regulatory compliance program. We are seeking someone who is diligent regarding their work, passionate about learning new things and can work autonomously in helping to plan and formulate regular compliance meetings, communications, maintain records of international training sessions, perform other paralegal and administrative duties as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
- You’ll be counted on to help create presentations for global compliance training, plan for and schedule regular global training sessions and quarterly compliance update meetings with international locations
- You’ll get to prepare, review and revise a variety of legal and transactional documentation (employment -related documents, releases, settlement agreements, handbooks, litigation hold memos, etc.)
- Be diligent in proofreading legal documents and correspondence; alert attorneys of incorrect or unclear items.
- You’ll coordinate with lawyers and HR partners to respond to subpoenas and inquiries regarding current and former employees.
- You’ll be relied upon to assist attorneys with a variety of corporate housekeeping duties (research, responses to governmental inquiries, document tracking, special projects, etc.)
- Perform clerical activities: maintain files; photocopy, fax, mail, and messenger documents and correspondence; make arrangements for meetings and travel, etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Organized: You’re in role in which you consistently manage competing projects and follow a consistent process in order to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. You're independent and your projects often has stretches that allows you to work autonomously.
- Communication: You're polished and often find yourself communicating with the legal department, senior management, outside law firms to resolve issues on highly confidential matters with discretion.
- Detail Oriented: You don’t miss details. you currently proofread, create and present legal documents using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for larger than 1000+ organization.
- Curious: You have a couple of years of legal experience but, you’re in a role in which you’re able to continue to learn and develop new skills and interested in employment law.
