Learning and Development Trainer

We are looking for an engaging, and organised learning and development trainer to join us as we continue our growth.

Key Accountabilities:
- Develop, adapt, deliver and maintain a bespoke training system that enables a smooth integration of new and existing employees onto projects. Minimise the project risks and maximise productivity, delivering on the goals and requirements of each individual project/client as per required.
- Build a comprehensive training and development roadmap covering each Quality Assurance (QA) service line from Functional QA to Localisation QA, to Virtual Reality (VR) testing, etc.
- Training support includes the creation and delivery of inductions, technical upskilling and general skill-based learning.
- You will deliver training sessions via the appropriate platforms as and when required; i.e. classroom, webinar, workshops and e-learning.
- Your training materials and delivery need to be able to adapt to the appropriate audience and operate at scale as we work across different sites.
- You will also be responsible for further training or re-training application for those with performance issues or learning need gaps where appropriate.
- You will be expected to coordinate with Service, Resource and Production Managers on incoming projects and ensure all scheduled and short-notice work is supported appropriately with the appropriately trained staff required on a day-to-day operations basis.
- Work with the resource manager to ensure sufficient training support is scheduled in line with recruitment timelines.
- Effectively maintain training records and materials, whilst ensuring delivery on Key Performance Indicators and report progress on a regular basis.
- You will consider the inclusive and accessible nature of the materials you create and how you deliver to your audience to maximize learning.
When developing materials you can work normal office hours however you will need to be flexible when it comes to delivery as some of our team members start at 7.30am and some work evenings.

Requirements
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong interpersonal /communications skills able to adapt to different audiences.
- Experience in designing and delivering training and development modules and materials such as guides, training videos and eLearning content.
- Ability to design and create training materials with an understanding of instructional design and best practice.
- Proven track history of developing and delivery training to support employees as they transition through their career and gain management and leadership positions.
- Experience in an action-orientated service delivery centre; i.e. used to working in a fast-paced, customer centric environment.
- Experience in delivering training in a variety of different environments, such as one-to-one, group sessions and remote sessions, to all levels of employees.
- A natural intellectual curiosity and a creative mindset which you use to implement forward-thinking ideas across different roles and departments.
- A strong understanding of Microsoft Office programs and a level of comfort around technology and different systems; Jira etc.
- Good eye for detail/thorough.
- Ability to conduct research, analysis and advise accordingly.
- Previous experience in delivering technology-based training (particularly within a games or application development business) is an advantage.
