Learning and Development Officer

Job Description
Act as a point of contact for employees learning and development needs. Facilitate all training initiatives while ensuring the implementation of best practices and process within the studio.
The role focuses on driving learning initiatives and programs to onboard new talent, grow skillsets, develop leaders and foster a vibrant, friendly work environment that promotes strong collaboration, creativity, high performance and continuous learning.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Project leaders and Managers in planning, designing and implementing learning initiatives that meet the needs of the studio.
- Implement and administer all activities related to setting up a learning activity from research, organization, logistics and administration
- Develop a strong relationship with all areas of the studios in order to collaborate and identify training needs;
- Manage administrative and coordination tasks including but not limited to training event attendance, generating reports, maintaining learning experience platform, and processing paper and electronic documents;
- Ensure all planned Learning and Development activities are executed to the desired quality, within budget, liaising with key stakeholders as appropriate;
- Monitor and evaluate all Learning and Development Program activities and return on investment
- Create stand-alone training modules for new or existing team members, as and when required.
- Facilitate internal training sessions as required;
- Ensure that all training produced and delivered is to the highest standard.
- Stay up to date by conducting research on the new trends and best practices related to the industry as well as within the talent development
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing and facilitating training sessions as part of a learning and development team
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong training delivery and presentation skills
- Should be self-motivated, articulate and enthusiastic
- Ability to collaborate with all staff levels and create structured training materials
- Attention to detail and ability to make sensible decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in e-learning platforms is desired
- Knowledge of the video game industry and passion for playing video games
