Learning and Development Lead at Sumo Group.
We are looking for a Learning and Development lead to join our growing team at Sumo Group! This opportunity has become available due to promotion within the existing team. This role would would best suit a candidate with full learning cycle knowledge, stakeholder influence, project management and coaching experience.
This is a national role available on a hybrid basis within the UK.
In this role you will:
- Partner with directors and senior managers to consult, design and deliver training solutions to meet the needs
- Create initiatives to influence positive change in talent development and implement solutions effectively
- Design, develop and implement senior management training initiatives virtually and face to face as required
- Support studio management teams to identify emerging talent and create appropriate development plans
- Embed the Sumo Pathway and values into development plans and succession planning
- Analyse emerging talent against cross-studio talent requirements and make recommendations
- Promote a learning organisation where individuals are empowered to own their own career vision
- Provide coaching and support for managers to help navigate the career aims and goals of their team members
- Work in collaboration with wider UK and international HR team
To be succesful you will have:
- A strong track record of partnering with managers to support in identifying learning needs and implementing development plans
- An expert professional knowledge gained through experience in L&D with a creative flair
- A Strong training facilitation and consulting skills – virtual and face to face
- Experience of supporting career development within a matrix structure
- Experience of delivering blended learning solutions and face to face training
- The ability to be proactive with offering solutions and taking ownership for problems which may sit outside of immediate area of responsibility
- The ability to effectively in discussions with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the business and contribute thoughtfully and with impact
- A collaborative and inclusive approach when working as part of a group and role model for others
- The ability to effectively lead meetings in a way that make other people feel comfortable and want to follow you
- The ability to manage projects and communicate progress effectively
- The ability to develop innovative and creative solutions that meet the needs to stakeholders
- The ability to build, influence and sustain good working relationships with stakeholders
- Good coaching and listening skills
