Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist - LQA

The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for identifying needs, designing, and delivering professional development training via educational technologies.
The selected candidate will work alongside colleagues to develop content aimed for new testers, as well as existing Testers and Leads. They will identify the needs of the LQA department and create new content or adapt existing one to meet those needs. They will deliver live content in-person, create e-Learning content, and facilitate interactive workshops.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
Course and workshop development, coordination and delivery:
- Deliver training through instructor-led approaches, demonstrations and workshops, and support the alignment of divisional needs with our corporate principles
- Develop live, e-Learning and blended learning content
- Gather and analyse information to design, develop, and deliver new training programmes that are efficient and effective and that have a positive impact on the studio
Data Management:
- Effectively manage and track participant enrolment, progress, grades, post course reporting and other information by maintaining a database
- Identify relevant business training needs and opportunities
Team support and involvement:
- Work closely with the HR team in Japan to deliver specific training, possibly in other Service Lines.
- Liaise with the Global L&D team (where needed) to ensure that the expectations of customers are met consistently.
- Assist in the development of harmonised processes across the Service Line
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
Mandatory
- Bilingual in Japanese and English: Ability to develop and deliver training in both Japanese and English
Preferred
- University degree in adult education or a similar field
- Training/teaching experience in a corporate environment;
- Experience in the conception and deployment of soft skills/management training activities
- Knowledge of adult education methodologies, instructional design, and technical writing
- Experience in delivering mid-management level soft skills training
- Knowledge of LQA processes and methodologies
