As a Learning & Development Specialist for the Amazon Games Learning & Inclusion team, you will be responsible for the coordination and measurement of our Learning and Development as well as Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity programs unique to Amazon Games. Programs include new hire orientation, onboarding, manager development, soft skills and technical training, game industry discipline specific development, and our inclusive leadership capability building efforts – all targeted to grow, engage, and retain our talent.

We are looking for an organized, planful, and analytic Learning & Development Specialist to own end-to-end curriculum coordination and measurement of our programs. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills and deliver in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a team player who leverages the strengths of our Learning & Inclusion team to respond quickly and effectively to a variety of issues and who is able to work closely with us to effectively prioritize and deploy program support based on business priorities. Proficiency with metrics data gathering, analysis, and presentation of insights is critical. Additionally, this role requires continuous inspection of program effectiveness and identification of opportunities to drive impact.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the execution of the Learning & Including roadmap to enable our employees to grow and the business to scale
• Employ project management skills and tools to manage multiple programs from enrollment through measurement
• Oversee course logistics including Learning Management System processes, communications, enrollment, and curriculum repository management
• Manage program measurement mechanisms including evaluation survey development, metrics data gathering, and analysis of findings evaluation on key performance and business metrics
• Maintain and refresh Learning & Inclusion wiki content
• Gather and format content for monthly Learning & Inclusion and People Manager newsletters

The right candidate for this role will demonstrate:
• Strong project management skills with proven success managing projects end to end
• Experience managing training logistics including enrollment, communications, site requirements, materials, and course evaluations
• Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts, global stakeholders, and leaders at all levels across the organization
• Experience measuring and reporting on business impact of training initiatives against pre-defined success metrics
• Ability to prioritize, manage, and complete work in fast-paced ambiguous environment, adapting quickly to changing circumstances, processes, and priorities

Position can be located in any US Corporate Office Location (Arlington, VA, New York, NY, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Nashville, TN, Seattle, WA).

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree
· 5+ years of experience working in a business function or HR.
· 3+ years of program management experience working across multiple functions with numerous stakeholders.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Experience in working with Learning Management Systems (KNet, Thinking Cap, Kornerstone, etc.)
· Full proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

· Effectively manage the entire program management lifecycle and use of project management tools to scope, lead, and deliver moderately complex projects.
· Lead cross-functional teams to achieve a common objective by motivating and focusing people resources without a direct reporting relationship.
· Interpret and communicate business objectives to team and stakeholders.
· Understand program customers and advocate on their behalf.
· Serve as primary escalation point for project team members; own and track issues to ensure that they are addressed, documented, and resolved.
· Articulate the features and detailed functional components and/or requirements of the work.
· Build trust with stakeholders and leaders across the organization.
· Work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment.
· Ability to think creatively and contribute to process simplification/improvement at a team level
· Analytical and quantitative skills with an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses
· Learning & Development industry certifications, as appropriate
