What We’re Looking For:
The Learning & Development Manager is responsible for designing, developing and managing onboarding and continuous learning programs for our Skillzians globally. Partnering with the Head of People, internal and external partners, and SMEs, you’ll use your learning expertise, creativity and analytical skills to ensure our Skillzians are able to thrive today and in the future by enhancing and expanding their skillsets!
What You Will Do :
- Program manage Skillz Onboarding and other org-wide learning and development programs.
- Design, develop, customize, and deliver quality learning and development programs that reinforce business strategies and goals, and improve the employee experience.
- Implement and manage online learning catalogs, wikis, and learning management system (LMS).
- Develop positive relationships with key partners, employees, and internal subject matter experts and have a pulse on employee training needs.
- Evaluate effectiveness of training programs, develop success criteria, and monitor reports/data to make recommendations for improvement to ensure overall impact and value.
- Due to Covid19, all training is currently virtual, however, in the future, this position may require some travel but not more than 10%.
Your Skillz:
- 5+ years designing, developing and evaluating talent development projects, preferably in a software company.
- Strong program management and organizational skills; self-motivated and assertive, with the ability to seek answers and drive solutions.
- Proven success in executing and delivering quality results on time.
- Experience using e-learning software and enablement tooling (e.g. Camtasia, Articulate 360 and Rise, Confluence).
- Demonstrated experience creating learning content and programs aligned to learning objectives including live training, elearning, job aids, reference guides and learning paths.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications, with an eye for design.
- Experience using virtual training delivery tools (e.g. Zoom).
- Loves to learn and teach, collaborates well with others, shares knowledge, and enjoys taking on new projects.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with all levels and roles.
