You have a proven track record of coordinating the details, logistics, and scheduling of programs, events, and initiatives. A natural coordinator and communicator, who has been the oil that keeps the engine running smoothly. You are someone who has a passion for learning & development and supporting employees across a global organization. A whiz with the Office suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel – putting together any combination of presentation, instructional guide, or report is in your wheelhouse. To that end, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Learning & Development Coordinator to join our team based out of our Irvine, CA headquarters.
This position supports the coordination and operations of all the programs, initiatives, and processes for the Learning & Development organization. Success in this role will be heavily dependent on the ability to balance multiple priorities, establish expectations in partnership with various team members, and provide valuable support for all our programs and initiatives that are dedicated to helping all Blizzard employees learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage an internal learning calendar across all teams
- Assist with tracking of program budgets and all associated spending
- Act as SABA power user for the team; format, upload, and manage all L&D content and courses on SABA, as well as update homepage for interest and marketing on a regular basis in partnership with comms
- Responsible for scheduling and logistics for major programs such as Management Fundamentals and Discipline Summits
- Facilitate contract and purchase order processes for the L&D team
- Administer our eLearning accounts (Pluralsight, LinkedIn Learning, GDC Vault, etc.)
- Communications logistics for marketing learning opportunities to select groups
- Regular capture data and stats from SABA and surveys and generate relevant reports on our success and impact
- Record keeping and management of shared team sites and documents
- Research innovative approaches in L&D and new/emerging topics that would be relevant to our employees and leadership
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-2 years in roles with responsibility for coordination, organization, planning, and scheduling of large-scale programs, events, initiatives
- Experience with creating presentations (PowerPoint), status reports (Word), pulling reports in Excel
- Able to work independently and effectively support a diverse team
- Able to succeed in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
- Able to support multiple people with competing priorities
- Talent for diplomatic, unbiased communication, both written and verbal
Pluses
- Strong customer service orientation, preferably in a creative or technical environment
- Experience with learning management systems, especially SABA
- Demonstrated ability to work at a fast pace in a multitasking environment and be flexible to ramp up or change directions as needed
- Experience with public speaking, facilitating, training or presenting
- A passion for games
- Understanding of creative and fast paced cultures and environments
