Lead Visual Effects Artist

Our strange & squanchy worlds need plenty of effects to sell them, and hopefully that’s where you come in! We’re looking for an experienced visual effects artist to help establish our pipeline and create satisfying and awesome-looking particle systems and effects.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the VFX Lead and Art Director to implement the style and vision for visual effects across multiple projects
• Create beautiful and efficient real-time VFX through all stages of development
• Communicate with design and engineering to make sure all the pretty shit works

Requirements:

• Shipped title built in Unreal
• 3+ years of video game industry experience
• Niagara & Houdini proficiency
• Thorough knowledge of the game development process and constraints
• Eye for detail and ability to break down existing effects in games and films
• Ability to communicate and follow the Art Direction of any given project
• Create VFX that are consistently good-looking and efficient for real-time use
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
