Our Incubation Team focuses on prototyping new ideas, new game concepts, new franchises, and the incubation of new studios with the ambitious vision to create genre defining games for the next generation of players. This is one of those unique opportunities that only happen once in a lifetime.
The Role:
Our studio is looking for an experienced Lead VFX Artist who is passionate about bringing exceptional entertainment to players around the globe. Using expert knowledge of your craft, and game development, you will join a character-focused action project in its incubation. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary group to design and implement VFX on a highly stylized new IP.

- You have developed a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create beautiful and descriptive VFX for games.
What You Will Do:
- Bring clarity, excitement, and drama to gameplay by designing and implementing compelling stylized visual effects.
- Collaborate with Art and Design to create evocative visual effects that articulates gameplay and visually elevates a cast of unique and compelling characters.
- Help drive visual development of a stylized new IP.
- Create a library of extensible and flexible VFX for rapid prototyping.
- Help inform and improve VFX creation techniques and tools.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a VFX artist.
- A strong understanding of particle systems.
- Mastery of relevant software packages such as Photoshop, After Effects, Maya (or equivalent DCC app)
- Experience in Unreal Engine creating particle systems in Cascade with strong desire to utilize Niagara.
- Experience giving clear, constructive feedback to your peers.
- A passion for developing and playing games.
Bonus Points:
- An understanding of Unreal’s Niagara VFX system
- Experience developing in Unreal’s Blueprints.
- Houdini experience.
- Ability to quickly communicate ideas through drawing and painting.
