Lead Unity Developer (M/F/X)

Proudly backed by EQT Ventures, Makers Fund and David Helgason, we are going through an exciting time of expansion. We are on the hunt for a Lead Unity Developer who is eager to lead a team and has a hard-headed approach to games, mechanics and a constant itch to create the next hit.

You will be working alongside people like Simon Schmid, the author of Entitas. (Entitas is the most widely used ECS framework for Unity).

What will you do:

• Supervise architecture and design for our new games, live games and games-platform (called gamekit)
• Collaborate with the team and lead them in solving technical challenges to turn their game's vision into a reality
• Manage and develop team of Unity Developers
• Perform code reviews and instil technical standards in the team
• Promote a culture within the team where new ideas are always discussed, change is welcomed when it’s for the benefit of the players, and ensure short release cycles are maintained
• Developing games that target millions, globally
• Using C# and Unity as the main technologies in your day to day work

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience with Unity
• At least 1 year of direct management/mentor experience
• Experience in architecture and high-level design for Unity applications
• A hands-on attitude in showing your team the way to overcome challenges, without compromising quality or gaming experience
• Proficiency in C#
• Previous experience with ECS framework (desirable)
• Experience with designing small graphics yourself (Photoshop/Unity/Blender)
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
