Responsibilities
- Implement UI in a proprietary engine writing C++ and Lua
- Collaborate with art and design teams
- Contribute to a large codebase, adding features and improving performance
- Debug and troubleshoot problems in unfamiliar code through careful analysis and performance tools (such as PIX)
- Communicate with external partners to resolve issues and develop efficient solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a UI Engineer
- Shipped multiple titles as a UI Engineer
- Strong skills in C++, data structures, and object-oriented design
- Comfortable in Lua or similar scripting languages
- Experience with graphics and multithreaded environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Passion for UI/UX and multiplayer FPS games
Extra Credit
- Development experience in multiple game engines, including proprietary engines
- Console experience (Xbox One/Xbox Series family preferred)
- Experience with UE4 UMG and its Blueprint designer panel
- Experience with additional languages (C#, Python, JavaScript, Go, etc.)
