Lead Technical Product Manager, Product & Design, Defence.

Lead Technical Product Managers are assigned to cross-functional development squads who are responsible for delivering an ecosystem of integrated technologies and services that comprise Skyral. Your role is to line manage and support these TPMs; define best practice and ways of working; provide coaching and training; and to ensure collaboration and integrated effort across the team and therefore, by extension, the platform.
Your Opportunity
- Set best practice, coach and support TPMs to:
- Represent the voice of our partners and customers.
- Identify the key requirements and features for products, and understand their value to customer and partner stakeholders.
- Refine requirements to detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that may include technical requirements.
- Work closely with UX Researchers, Product Designers and Engineering managers to analyse and prioritise stories, epics and tasks to deliver the product strategy and value for the business.
- Become an expert on the product, the market, relevant technology and the competition.
- Help drive the development of product release plans and set expectation for the delivery of new functionality.
- Mitigate impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
- Report on the progress of development and escalate where appropriate.
- Support demonstrations of the product to internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the Product function in the weekly rhythm of engineering delivery.
