Lead Systems Designer

We are Mythical Games. A fully funded next-generation game technology company at the intersection of video games and blockchain. Our goal is to lead the industry with the launch of exceptional video game experiences that leverage Blockchain Technology, while also providing a platform of robust tools that will allow any other game developer to do the same.

You love designing and working with highly complex, interoperable F2P or AAA game systems. It doesn’t matter if it’s experience points, health points, equipment upgrades or currencies - you can make it all work in perfect harmony. Your obsession is to serve the player and you’re an expert at designing rewarding and engaging experiences. You love taking abstract concepts and high-level designs and turning them into a playable reality. You make the machine work.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on design, building and testing of dynamic game systems from the ground up
• Work with local studio and Mythical tech and business teams to ensure the commercial viability of your designs
• Drive and own the design discipline for all Mythical Stockholm products
• Work with the studio design talent to develop new features, concepts and solutions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in AAA or mobile games
• Highly data driven
• Experience from motivating, developing and growing design teams
• Create, maintain and distribute appropriate documentation and designs
• Equally as comfortable presenting to game teams and studio as you are to C-suite
• Master communicator
