Your Mission
Infinity Ward - Austin is seeking a talented and passionate Lead Release Engineer to oversee build infrastructure and release services development.
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Engineering lead for executing and improving the release process and management
- Helping define new policies, improving process and culture to help to release more efficiently with better quality
- Managing and tracking changes for multiple releases and communicating progress against committed deliverables
- Proposing and implementing changes throughout the release process
- Release process automation
- Work as a technical liaison with development teams to address build issues and improvements.
- Collaborate across domain teams and QA on releases / updates and patches
- Help support our integration process, emergent work and deployments
Player Profile
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in build infrastructure management and related services engineering.
- 1 shipped title working as a senior engineer specializing in build and release code.
- Experience with instrumentation and analysis of build services infrastructure.
- Experience working with or in mature build pipelines and build infrastructure at scale.
- Experience with automation and test frameworks.
- Knowledge of C++ programming and practices.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Pluses
- Experience as a managing engineer.
- Experience in other areas of video game technology.
- Experience with multi-platform development, including PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
- Working in and extending an established code base.
