Lead Quest Designer (F/M/NB)

Job Description
As a Lead Quest Designer within the Assassin's Creed brand, you will be managing a team of Quest Designers. In collaboration with the Narrative and Design teams, you will participate in and be responsible for the design and implementation of quest arcs and related systems. Your mission will be to align your team's needs and deliverables with the creative direction of the project and associated constraints.
YOUR MISSIONS:
- Lead a team of quest designers, helping them grow in their professional expertise and in their interactions with various stakeholders, and support their career management with HR teams
- In conjunction with the producing teams, evaluate the feasibility of the project's creative ambitions, define and maintain the roadmaps for quest designers and their various assignments, and track their deliverables
- Collaborate with different teams (Design, Art, Narrative, etc.) on the project to develop innovative missions/quests that align with the overall vision of the game
- Develop relationships with different departments and managers to optimize the team's work and dependencies, serving as the main point of contact for Quest content
- Continuously evaluate the quality, accessibility, clarity, and difficulty level of the team's productions and the project, providing tailored feedback to various stakeholders
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Quest/Mission Design on AAA projects
- Desired experience in open-world games
- Experience in team management
- Strong curiosity and general knowledge beyond video games
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
- Rigor, adaptability, autonomy, and self-criticism
