Lead QA

What We Need:

We are looking for an experienced Embedded QA lead to join our development team, working side-by-side with our team of programmers, designers, artists and producers. You will partner with veteran developers to help deliver games to our customers that are at the highest possible level of quality and entertainment. You will be responsible for mentoring our embedded QA, assisting the external QA teams and providing daily reporting on the games health to the development team to ensure the product is always at the highest level of quality possible.

What You Will Do:

• Establish metrics and create reports to track and monitor the games health
• Assess risks, raise them to the team and help drive to resolve them
• Work directly with the dev team to coordinate QA efforts on features that are work in progress
• Help Direct and mentor the embedded QA team.
• Work directly with external QA teams to assist them in their testing efforts
• Work closely with the embedded testers to troubleshoot problems and remove roadblocks
• Help create and maintain test cases and plans
• Triage difficult problems and drive them to resolution
• Provide qualitative feedback on features that are work in progress.
• Monitor and report on build status on a daily basis and flag blocking issues
• Play game builds; find and enter clear and concise bugs into our tracking database

Who Will Be A Great Fit:

• 4+ years of QA experience
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Strong JIRA skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience testing games on PCs
• Experience working on Microsoft and Sony development kits
• Experience testing games in all phases of a development lifecycle
• Must be able to work in fast pace and always changing environment
• Love for video games (not just ours!)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong technical expertise
• Experience working directly with members of a dev team
• Experience with Perforce
• Have worked in a remote environment
• Familiarity with the WWE franchise
