As QA Manager you will be responsible for all testing strategy, execution and reporting to the executive and production teams as well as managing the workload of the QA team.
Responsibilities
- Leadership of all QA personnel and their day to day duties
- Lead and participate in all aspects of testing, including but not limited to functional, regression, integration, performance, and release testing
- Owning and prioritizing all feature testing
- Develop effective processes to improve coverage and efficiency of testing
- Work directly with engineering leads, design leads, and project managers across the company to ensure all feature testing is meeting quality standards
- Mentor, support and coach your testers to be constantly improving their skill sets
- Track, evaluate, and report on project testing progress
- Keep all relevant testing documentation up to date and available to all testers
- Establish best practices for QA reporting pipeline
- Aid QA team in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Requirements
- +4 Experience managing both onsite and offsite videogame QA teams
- Extensive knowledge of gaming platforms
- Passion for gaming and desire to constantly improve the gamer experience
- Great technical communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to provide direction and feedback for test plans and testing processes created by your team
- Experience with JIRA and/or other bug tracking software
- Familiar with 3rd party certification practices and standards
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or Google Equivalent
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to guide team members through technical issues
- Advanced knowledge of Unity3D/2D.
- Experience in agile methodologies
- Spoken English
- Familiarity with the use of Android and iOS operating systems.
