Lead Programmer

Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Programmer for the RedLynx programming team of Rainbow Six Mobile and, in the future, other titles.

You should have expertise in Unity and C# and broad knowledge about how the programming team contributes to shipping a game. Maybe you’re already a leader, maybe not. What matters is you are passionate about following the lead path. In either case, we will support you in the role, you just need the right mindset – supporting your team and communicating clearly. We expect you to have a growth mindset and to aim for excellence in your work, as well as supporting the work of others.

As a Lead, you will work daily with other studios and disciplines to achieve shared goals. A lot of your time will be spent clarifying requirements with stakeholders, then turning that into meaningful tasks with your team, all the while supporting them. Our project use cutting edge Unity, including many of its latest features. This means you’ll be helping evaluate and set the technical direction, and making sure your team is ready for the future.

Qualifications

What are we looking for in an applicant? If you’re still reading this, and if you’re excited, we are probably looking for you. To set clear expectations, this means you know how to program in C#, you’ve made some stuff in Unity. You enjoy it, and you are good at it. You are also a leader, and you enjoy leading and all that comes with that.
