Lead Programmer (Power Wash Simulator) - Permanent, Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Lead Programmer to Lead the programming team on our exciting multiplatform live game - Power Wash Simulator. The successful candidate will have shipped at least 2 titles, with at least one being on a console platform. They will be extremely well organised, kind, patient and take great pride in optimizing workflows to ensure the team can achieve their best work.

Responsibilities

• Work with other programmers to design the game code and maintain technical design documents.
• Collaborate with the Art and Design teams to identify and define pipelines, workflows and tools needed throughout the development process.
• Closely work with the Game Director to build the vision of the game, ensuring it becomes an actionable technical design that will deliver quality.
• Lead the code team to ensure delivery of the necessary tools and technology.
• Ensure all code is delivered to the required standard and all TRCs are followed.
• Thoroughly test your code to ensure that there are no bugs.
• Mentor and manage programmers on your team.
• Estimate time to accomplish programming tasks and commit to meeting these objectives.

Requirements

• Expert in C#.
• Excellent working knowledge of Unity.
• At least 8 years of game development experience.
• Ability to break down and scope out technical tasks.
• Experienced in leading and mentoring team.
• Previous experience of working on a multiplatform title.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both a technical and non-technical audience.
• Excellent communicator both verbal and written.
• Specialised knowledge in one or more of the following:
  • Graphics, systems, procedural generation, physics, networking, AI or gameplay.
