Lead Product Marketing Manager
Zynga is looking for a passionate Lead Product Marketing Manager to support all strategy, planning, execution, and coordination related to the marketing of our current and upcoming mobile game titles.
The ideal candidate will have experience in product marketing strategies and activities and managing mobile free-to-play games and processes. This person should possess creative and analytical skills, and work well in a cross-functional team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing a cohesive marketing and communications strategy across all channels/touch-points, and partner with cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day execution and evaluation of marketing plans. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a marketing team with a proven record of excellence and have exceptional execution skills.
This role will report to the VP of Product Marketing and will be a critical part of the Growth Marketing team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Game Studio to define product marketing strategy across a variety of areas including app store distribution platforms, international markets, content pipeline, and marketing.
- Analyze performance of all marketing programs to identify the best opportunities for optimization, and regularly iterate to maximize performance.
- Identify value proposition and key messages, write creative briefs for internal or external agencies to ensure we produce best in class creative, which is consistent across all channels and resonates with consumers.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally to Build ‘Mobile First’ Best Practices (Perf. Mkt, Lifecycle, App Store Optimization, etc.)
- Manage a marketing team focused on the following channels: Social, Email marketing, Notification optimization, Video and art production and product marketing.
- Collaborating closely with ASO, Creative services, UA and PR teams to ensure titles get support throughout the publishing organization.
- Proactivity research new trends and bring new opportunities to the growth marketing team.
Desired Skills and Experience:- 5+ years of experience in online consumer marketing with a strong track record of success and results in mobile gaming
- Experience in most areas of marketing, including mobile, online and offline, brand and product marketing, search, CRM, social media and PR
- Experience managing a team heavily focused on execution
- Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong influencing and leadership skills; effective cross-functional driver
- Ability to analyze game metrics, interpret data and drive recommendations
- Solid understanding of online advertising platforms & related metrics
- Experience – and desire – to do both strategic marketing and daily execution and optimization
- A passion for product marketing and games
- A strong track record of success and results at previous companies
- Strong influencing and leadership skills; effective cross-functional driver
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Ability to be flexible on a day to day basis with task priority
