Job Description
Magic Leap is looking for an experienced Lead Product Manager with a background in human-centered product development or design. You will be working alongside the best technical and design talent in the world to drive the next generation of human-computer interactions for our spatial computing platform.
Magic Leap is a dynamic company and this is a hands-on role. You can expect to do user research, market analysis, roadmap definition and prioritization, and presentation to senior leadership all in a course of a few weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Discover hidden motivations and insights that drive users to love a particular product.
- Collaborate with design and technical teams to design individual features as well as product roadmaps for spatial interactions.
- Quantify and test your product hypothesis and feature roadmap, and make sure it aligns with strategic company goals.
- Prioritize and communicate user and technical product requirements to engineering and design teams.
- Establish metrics to ensure the products are shipped on schedule.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in human-centered Product Management or design role.
- Thorough understanding of modern product management and product development practices.
- Experience in building business cases and product roadmaps across a wide variety of industries.
- Experience working on highly technical and algorithmically complex products strongly preferred.
- Conceptualized and shipped mass market, advanced hardware products that your customers loved. Either as a product manager, or a hardware engineer. Preferably a mix of both, and preferably across several markets and/or companies. (5+ years of experience).
- Thorough understanding of modern product management and design research practices.
- Experience in building business cases and product roadmaps across a wide variety of industries.
- Experience working on highly technical and algorithmically complex products strongly preferred.
Education:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field. Bachelor accepted with relevant experience.
