Klang is looking for a Heaf of Production (f/m/d) who enjoys working in a collaborative and creative work environment. You have a passion for games and understand that we facilitate other disciplines. In this function, you will work with Senior Leadership, and other key stakeholders, to ensure we are building the best possible product and that the development process runs smoothly. Requirements
What you will do:
- Be the head of a fantastic, and expanding, Production Team. Ensuring that Company and Product level goals and objectives are being planned for and delivered on regularly
- Lead, and support, the rest of the Core Team, with the creation, maintenance, and prioritization of long-term Development Roadmaps and Product plans
- Coordinate with the Head of Publishing, the Head of Creative, and other senior members of staff to evaluate the scope and needed resources for different company initiatives
- Be the voice of the Development Teams in Core Team, Creative Team, and other high level company and Product groups
- Generate reports, burn downs and other performance & KPI reports for, and present to, the Core Team, the Creative Team and other stakeholders. Understanding what our key measures for success should be and how we improve them
- Hire, lead, coach, and develop both senior and junior members of your team
Who we think will be a great fit:
- 8+ years working in Production / Project Management in the games industry
- Previous experience in a high level Product leadership role
- Previous experience in a Production position taking a Product through its whole lifecycle
- Understanding of project management methodologies such as lean, agile, and waterfall
- Great at managing, motivating and supporting multiple teams and planning work to create realistic deliverables
- An appreciation of the roles, responsibilities, and challenges within other disciplines
- Great at thinking critically, and applying analytical skills to facilitate complex issues
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written in English on a professional level
- Good experience working with Google Workspace tools, Miro, Confluence, and extensive experience with Jira, including best practices for breakdowns, estimation, tracking, and generating reports as well as roadmaps
Bonus:
- Previous experience working on large scale MMO games
- Experience with modern commercial game engines such as Unity
