Media Molecule - Lead Producer
As a Lead Producer you will be an integral part of our project leadership team. Reporting to the Production Director you will be responsible for substantial areas of the game, representing your team’s in a production capacity, ensuring that the team's efforts are inline with the wider studio goals and strategies. You’ll work to identify and resolve conflicts between schedule, budget and creative goals.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Production Leads from other teams to align production plans across all development groups.
- Leading a team of producers to create robust production plans for your areas of the project, able to execute effectively against those plans.
- Assisting the Production Director in managing production budgets, including both resource and development budget, and shaping the project roadmap.
- Working with the team to ensure their efforts are aligned to the business and product goals.
- Working closely with the wider production team, identifying opportunities for efficiencies, critical dependencies and risk mitigation strategies
- Championing and building upon our production processes. Ensure they are effective at improving our velocity, teamwork, and transparency. Including greenlights, milestone reviews and status reporting.
- Establishing efficient communication loops of all project matters in the project team and towards the other departments and stakeholders.
- Ensuring excellent communication, positive working relationships and collaboration within the development team and across disciplines.
- Ensuring project scope is adhered to, controlling feature creep, ensuring project is delivered in line with expectations, and managing any necessary project budget changes.
- Providing motivation, support and guidance to your production team.
- Working with the Production Director for training, development and performance reviews across the Production team.

- Able to work with multiple stakeholders of different experience levels and crafts to effectively coordinate deliverables.
- Able to effectively prioritise tasks across multiple concurrent objectives.
- Able to manage budgets in accordance with fiscal targets/restrictions.
- Proactive, self-organised and able to work independently.
- Able to handle effective change control assessment, tracking and implementation.
- Effective team management skills, supporting direct reports, mentoring junior producers and creating a positive, inclusive team culture
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships.
Experience required:
- Experienced in project management using Jira, Tello or other related tools.
- Experience of planning multiple projects from conception through to completion with a mixed-discipline team of creative people.
- Experience of sprint and milestone management.
- Experience identifying and proactively resolving impediments to project delivery.
- Experience working on a live service project.
- Experience as a Senior Producer (or above), on AAA games working with complex cross disciplinary teams.
- Experience of line managing other producers.
Advantageous:
- Experience working in the games industry on AAA or mobile titles.
- Experience of line management.
This is a permanent position, applicants must be able to travel to the Guilford office on a regular basis.
