Position Mission
As the Lead Producer you will be accountable for establishing milestones for assigned products and coordinating direct reports in shepherding the overall progress of a development team toward those milestones. Other coordination duties include tracking assigned tasks related to game development, including responsibilities such as coordinating with team leads and directors (both local and remote), managing backlog reports, preparing project related documentation and assisting with game updates.
This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Boston, MA. However, we understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore other possible options, including remote work arrangements.
Responsibilities:
- Own high-level planning documentation, including Backlog and Roadmap, ensuring they have been reviewed by the appropriate parties and prioritized appropriately.
- Lead, manage, and mentor members of the production team
- Lead production for multiple disciplines and feature teams as needed.
- Develop the skill sets of direct reports and other team members of through knowledge sharing
- Foster a positive team culture based on listening and learning from each other
- In collaboration with the Associate Director of Production you will advocate for production needs within the organization
- Identify, communicate, and propose solutions to project risks to the leadership of the company.
- Support game production by coordinating the operations of the team while ensuring process is followed, identifying areas of improvement, and improving team efficiency.
- Collaboration with each team head to ensure standard processes are adhered to and all teams are progressing according to roadmaps
Minimum Requirements:
Experience
- 6 years experience working in production pipelines with a SaaS product
- 3 years experience with game development best practices in a professional or academic setting
- 2 year of experience leading and managing teams in a professional setting
- At least 1 shipped AAA title or implemented content on a shipped AAA title
Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to identify, mentor, and grow talent with an emphasis on building a diverse and inclusive team
- Consistent track record to focus on priorities – problem solving, multi-tasking, and meeting project goals.
Extra Points
- Experienced in project management methodologies including agile and waterfall.
- Experience working with agile software tools and agile project management processes.
- Experience with documentation and production pipelines on medium to large teams.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $80,800.00 - $149,400.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
